Shopping vintage does a world of good for our planet. By choosing to spend your dollars on second-hand items as opposed to mass produced, new items, you’re promoting a more sustainable economy in a number of ways. By saying no to fast fashion, you’re also saying no to inhumane working conditions that have become the norm for so many fashion giants in recent years. You’re saying no to the enormous carbon footprints caused by the fashion and textile industry, which contributes to 10% of global greenhouse gas emissions. And finally, you’re also saying no to the immeasurable amount of clothing waste that goes into landfill each and every year.
Not to mention, by shopping vintage you’re guaranteed to look the coolest in the room. No one else is going to be rocking that second-hand piece you’ve snaffled up.
Some vintage clothing can be a little inconsistent in terms of sizing. This is why we’ve added a “Fits like” section, as well as measurements.
Our measurements are taken "pit to pit" which is in a straight line across the garment from the underarm seams. The "Top to bottom" measurement is taken from the top of the collar, down to the bottom hem.
These measurements plus our suggested “Fits like” info should help you get a better idea of what the garment actually wears like, steering you towards finding your ideal style and fit.
Keep in mind vintage clothing is pretty versatile, you can generally get away with sizing up or down depending how you like the fit.
Our items are unique vintage pieces. We only have one of each product on our website and cannot predict when we will restock something similar. This exclusivity makes vintage clothing so special.
